THE SHOW

SYNOPSIS

On a ramshackle stage somewhere in the musical theatre purgatory known as “The Grave White Way”, an acting-troupe of deceased Broadway veterans assembles in the presence of the Supreme Being.  For what reason?  To perform an "afterlife revue" celebrating some calamitous 20th Century musicals.  Because they were condemned on Earth, these shows and the souls responsible for them have been denied entrance into Broadway Paradise, where musicals of more dubious fame (like Oklahoma! and Gypsy) enjoy an everlasting run on a glimmering stage of gold.  To gain admittance, the Players recount the histories and revive the songs of those brilliant forgotten musical flops… proving at last that the shows are indeed worthy of eternal acceptance.
